WatchPals privacy policy

The essentials

This policy applies specifically to WatchPals by Formidable Studio (Keaton Rozema). We do not operate a player-account service, sell your personal information, or include advertising or third-party usage analytics in the reviewed app.

Your pet stays with your devices

WatchPals stores your pet’s name and state, care history, family album, unlocked rooms and accessories, preferences, and game identifiers on your device. Widgets and complications read relevant game information from the app’s shared storage.

In versions with a companion app, Apple’s WatchConnectivity transfers pet and family data between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch so progress can stay in sync. This is not a public pet profile or a studio-hosted cloud account. Your operating system’s device backups may also contain app data.

Care reminders

With your permission, WatchPals schedules local care notifications. Quiet hours and reminder preferences are stored on your device. You can change notification permissions in Apple device settings; reminders and widgets may display pet information on your screen.

Your controls and deletion

Use the game’s available care, family, and reset controls to manage your pet data. To remove all app data, remove the app and its stored data from each device where you use it, and manage any device backups separately. A pet’s in-game death or a new generation is part of gameplay and does not itself erase the family album or other saved history.

We do not receive your saved pet or care history through normal gameplay. If you contact support, we receive your message, email address, and any details you choose to attach.

Privacy requests and children

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, object to or restrict processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact formidablegamesstudio@gmail.com to make a request about information held by Formidable Studio. We may need to verify the request. You may also contact your local data-protection authority. Apple and other providers handle requests for information under their own control.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If a child has submitted personal information to us or through an online feature, a parent or guardian can contact us to request review and removal.

Security and policy updates

We use the protections available through the app, Apple’s platform, and the services described above. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Service providers may process information outside your country under their own applicable safeguards.

We may update this policy when features or practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. The studio privacy policy covers the website and shared studio practices; this page describes the app-specific features.
