Eventful privacy policy

Privacy information for people who still have Eventful installed.

Last updated · English

For existing Eventful users

This policy applies specifically to Eventful by Formidable Studio (Keaton Rozema). Eventful is no longer available for new downloads. Existing installations may continue to store countdowns and use supported Apple services. We do not sell personal information or include third-party advertising or usage analytics in the reviewed app.

Countdowns and device features

Event names, dates, emoji, colors, archive status, reminder settings, and app preferences are stored in the app’s local database. Widgets and Live Activities use relevant countdown information, and Apple’s WatchConnectivity transfers event information between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch.

Notifications are scheduled with your permission. Countdown names and dates may appear in widgets, Live Activities, or notifications on your screen. Siri and Shortcuts integration is handled through Apple’s system features and permissions. Eventful does not operate a studio-hosted event account or cloud database.

Purchases and support

Versions offering paid features use Apple’s StoreKit for subscriptions or purchases and access restoration. Apple processes payment and transaction records; we do not receive payment-card details. See Apple’s privacy policy.

If you contact support, we receive your email address and the content you send. The app’s unavailability does not automatically cancel a subscription; manage any active subscription through your Apple Account.

Retention and deletion

Delete events in the app, and allow paired-device sync to complete. To remove all local data, remove the app and its stored data from each device where it is installed. Manage device backups separately. Remove any remaining widgets or Live Activities and change notification or Siri permissions through Apple settings.

Deleting the app does not itself erase Apple’s purchase records or cancel subscriptions. Contact us about information sent directly to the studio.

Privacy requests and children

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, object to or restrict processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact formidablegamesstudio@gmail.com to make a request about information held by Formidable Studio. We may need to verify the request. You may also contact your local data-protection authority. Apple and other providers handle requests for information under their own control.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If a child has submitted personal information to us or through an online feature, a parent or guardian can contact us to request review and removal.

Security and policy updates

We use the protections available through the app, Apple’s platform, and the services described above. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Service providers may process information outside your country under their own applicable safeguards.

We may update this policy when features or practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. The studio privacy policy covers the website and shared studio practices; this page describes the app-specific features.
