Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Eventful ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to the free tier and Eventful Premium. The App is developed and operated by Formidable Studio.

2. App Overview

Eventful is a countdown event tracker for creating, managing, and monitoring upcoming events, with optional notifications, Home Screen widgets, and Live Activities on the Lock Screen.

Eventful is distributed through the Apple App Store. Use is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.

3. Free Tier

The free tier supports up to 3 active countdown events. Events use the default Ocean color; custom colors are not included.

Notifications, Home Screen widgets, Lock Screen Live Activities, event search, and the archive remain available on the free tier.

4. Premium Subscription

Eventful Premium is available as a monthly auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.

• Monthly Subscription (premium_monthly): auto-renews monthly at the displayed purchase price.
• Lifetime Purchase (premium_lifetime): a one-time, non-consumable purchase granting permanent Premium access.

All purchases and billing are processed by Apple. Formidable Studio does not collect or store payment information.

5. Billing and Renewal

By subscribing monthly, you authorize Apple to charge your Apple ID account each month.

• The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled.
• Renewal charges are applied within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Prices appear in local currency and may change with advance notice under Apple’s policies.
• Subscriptions and billing dates can be managed in Apple ID settings.

6. Free Trial

The monthly subscription may include a free trial for eligible new subscribers. Trial access includes all Premium features.

Important: Unless cancelled before the trial ends, it converts to a paid monthly subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends to avoid a charge.

Eligibility is determined by Apple and may not be available to previous subscribers.

7. Cancellation

To cancel, open Settings on your Apple device, select your name, choose Subscriptions, select Eventful, and choose Cancel Subscription. Cancellation is also available through the App Store or Apple ID settings.

Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the following charge. Premium remains available until the current paid period ends, after which the account returns to the free tier. Lifetime purchases are permanent and cannot be cancelled or revoked.

8. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Formidable Studio does not issue refunds directly.

To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, locate the Eventful purchase, and submit a request. Apple determines eligibility under its policies.

9. License and Restrictions

Formidable Studio grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Eventful on Apple devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, extract source code, use the App unlawfully, or share, resell, or transfer Premium access. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

10. Changes to Terms

Formidable Studio may update these Terms. The last-updated date will be revised and significant changes may also receive in-app notice. Continued use after a change means acceptance; otherwise, stop using the App and cancel active subscriptions.
