Cornered privacy policy

The essentials

This policy applies specifically to Cornered by Formidable Studio (Keaton Rozema). The game saves progress locally and uses SilentWolf for its online leaderboard. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Local game data

Your chosen player name, coins, upgrades, equipment, unlocks, challenge progress, settings, and high scores are saved on your device. An in-game “account level” describes game progression; it is not an email-and-password account with the studio.

Automatic high-score submissions

When the game-over screen opens and you have a recorded high score greater than zero, Cornered sends your player name and high score to SilentWolf’s online leaderboard. This submission is automatic; it does not require opening the leaderboard first.

The leaderboard makes player names and scores visible to other players. Use a nickname and avoid names containing contact details or other personal information. SilentWolf receives the request and associated network information needed to provide the service. Learn about the provider at SilentWolf.

If you do not want future scores sent, play without an internet connection. Changing or resetting your local name does not remove entries already submitted.

Purchases and support

Where in-app purchases are offered, Apple processes payments and purchase restoration. The game uses product and transaction status to grant purchased content. Formidable Studio does not receive payment-card details. See Apple’s privacy policy.

If you use the feedback form or email us, we receive the message and any contact information you supply; the external form provider also processes your submission.

Retention and removal

Local progress remains until reset or removed with the app’s stored data. Online scores are separate from the local save and can remain until removed from the leaderboard. Contact us with the player name and score if you want an entry reviewed, corrected, or deleted. We may ask for information needed to verify the request.

Device backups and provider records may remain under their respective retention practices. Resetting the game or deleting the app does not automatically remove online scores or purchase records.

Privacy requests and children

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, object to or restrict processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact formidablegamesstudio@gmail.com to make a request about information held by Formidable Studio. We may need to verify the request. You may also contact your local data-protection authority. Apple and other providers handle requests for information under their own control.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If a child has submitted personal information to us or through an online feature, a parent or guardian can contact us to request review and removal.

Security and policy updates

We use the protections available through the app, Apple’s platform, and the services described above. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Service providers may process information outside your country under their own applicable safeguards.

We may update this policy when features or practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. The studio privacy policy covers the website and shared studio practices; this page describes the app-specific features.
