Power & teleportation

The electrical system gives builders a way to make powered contraptions and reliable long-distance travel routes.

Power parts

• Power Block: the core powered block used in mechanical recipes. It is passthrough in the current build, so players can walk through it.
• Copper wiring: carries the electrical connection between components.
• Pulse Laser: a directional powered device that can damage mobs.

Gravity Block

Version 1.5.4 added the Gravity Block. When powered, it reverses gravity, creating an inverted movement space for mechanical experiments.

Teleporter plates

Six plate colors are defined: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Each plate is crafted from a Power Block plus the matching colored cotton. Place paired or routed plates as part of a powered build, then use the Teleporter Traveler achievement to track your first successful use.

Structure teleportation

Cheats can expose a separate structure teleportation convenience: teleport to nearby known structures, including temples where a valid target has been recorded. This does not replace ordinary exploration in Survival.
